The history of the Turkish textile industry stretches back more than 1,500 years to the legendary Silk Road, where Bursa became one of the world's most important centers for silk weaving and textile craftsmanship. Today, Bursa continues to be recognized as the textile capital of Türkiye, home to many of the country's leading textile manufacturers and exporters.
Vanelli Textile proudly continues this centuries-old heritage. Established by a family whose textile expertise spans four generations, Vanelli has become one of Bursa's distinguished home textile manufacturers, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to create premium woven fabrics, jacquard textiles, decorative fabrics, and home textile collections for international markets.
Our family's textile journey began in 1932 with the production of high-end woven home textiles. Over the decades, thousands of skilled craftsmen, designers, engineers, and textile specialists have contributed to our continuous growth, transforming experience into innovation and creativity.
A defining milestone came when Mr. Türkün established his own independent textile business in Bursa, building a new vision focused on quality, innovation, and international trade. In 1983, the company's first manufacturing facility was established in the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone, one of Türkiye's most important textile production hubs. This investment laid the foundation for sustainable growth and advanced textile manufacturing.
In 1989, Vanelli Foreign Trade Company was founded to expand the company's international presence. This strategic step enabled Vanelli to become a trusted exporter of premium home textiles, supplying customers across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and many other global markets.
Today, Vanelli is recognized as a leading textile manufacturer in Bursa, specializing in premium home textiles, decorative fabrics, jacquard weaving, and custom textile solutions for both residential and hospitality projects. By combining nearly a century of textile heritage with continuous investment in design, sustainability, innovation, and advanced manufacturing technologies, Vanelli continues to represent the excellence of Turkish textile manufacturing worldwide.

Year after year, Vanelli has grown, succeeding in the difficult yet fundamental undertaking of preserving the soul of craftsmanship in an industrial body. Maintaining and pursuing this goal with constant passion, the company has diversified its product offer over the years, developing home textiles.
Textile sector opertions were started by Ali Vehbi Türkün.
The second generation took over the management of the companies under the name Türkün Kollektif Şirketi. Jacquard drapery and upholstery production continued using genuine and artificial silk.
Türkün and Beylik families continued their production activities together in Yeşil, Umurbey and Namazgah districts.
Erol Türkün after graduating from Textile Engineering in Germany, returned back to Turkey and began Textile production by founding "Erol Türkün Textile" company in Bursa, Duaçınarı district with eight looms.
Erol Türkün Textile received its first incentive certificate and the year after had imported Italian somet weaving machines - demand for both quality and capacity boomed right after.
"Vanelli Foreign Trade", which has a vital role in becoming a world brand, was founded and in early 1990 performed its first export to Germany.
Exports speeded up the need for new machinery, and 1990 was the year of significant investments. Weaving loom investments followed by the twister, yarn dyeing machines from Italy. And Erol Türkün Textile Factory began yarn dye production to correctly reflect the possessed quality understanding in the domestic and foreign market to remove the shade disparities in yarns.
The second factory, named "Türkün Textile", was founded on the 10,000 m2 land in Bursa Organized Industrial Zone and began its fabric dye and bare finish activities.
The home textile confection collection, designed and manufactured by the vision of Tülin Türkün, was a great success that had a high and encouraging interest in Heimtextil. This interest caused the foundation of a new business; home textile confection production under the name "Vanelli Confection" began its activities in the same year.
As a tech enthusiastic company in search of better performance, Vanelli start using SAP and Porini.
Three years in a row, Vanelli was nominated as a "GOLD MEMBER" by Trevira CS. Notably as the only Turkish supplier with the most innovative and diverse Trevira CS collection.
To eliminate waste and empower workers, reduce inventory and improve productivity, we started with Lean Manufacturing, and upgraded our certificate to ISO 9001.
Turkun Academy was founded.
New Management System, RP Digital Transformation and Turquality Brand Program has been started.
E-Commerce operations has been started with our brand Deco Center
All companies confederate under Vanelli brand.
With the transition to the new ERP program, new technological moves were made. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO 50001 Energy Management System certifications have been obtained.
The company won the “Environmentally Friendly Facility” award at the North Star Program organized by TAİDER. Furthermore, by obtaining the Sedex certification, the supply chain was rendered socially and environmentally more sustainable.
Our natural product range was certified with the European Flax Certification and Eco Label. Additionally, the company secured 1st place in the “Environmentally Conscious Industrial Facility” competition organized within the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB).
We have begun generating our own clean energy via the rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system installed at our factory, and successfully obtained the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certification. Blending half a century of weaving expertise with a deep reverence for nature, we continue to tailor the future with green, sustainable steps, as honored by our Sustainability Achievement Award
