We are a family business backed by a history of passion for interior decoration handed down for four generations.

As the leading Turkish company in the home textiles sector, Vanelli is a family business backed by a history of passion for interior decoration handed down for four generations. Honouring the past and welcoming the future, Erol Türkün and Tülin Türkün relied successively on their three kids — Aslı, Sadi Cem and Serra — to lead and to expand the scope of the company based on a shared appreciation of love for perfection, attention to details and inspired creation.

Our Founder

Erol Türkün was born in Bursa in 1950. Being the third generation of the family involved in textile, Erol studied at Istanbul Austrian High School after completing his primary education in Bursa. After receiving his Textile Engineering degree in Germany, he started his industrial life under his own name with a small fund he got from his father.

It was a success, and Erol Türkün opened his first factory in 1983 in the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone and founded "Vanelli Foreign Trade Company" in 1989, which played a significant role in becoming a world brand. Through his well-directed decisions, Erol Türkün's second factory became active on cloth, dye and dressing area in the name of 'Türkün Textile'. Mega Textile Inc. followed and was added into his integrated facilities chain in 1993, mainly focusing on polyester yarn shrinkage, twisting and net curtain weaving.

Today, he's the owner of 11 establishments with over 650 dedicated employees working on yarn dying-preparing, weaving, piece dyeing, printing, finishing, ready-made and both domestic and abroad marketing for textiles. Unlike the textile business, he is in the yachting and construction business under the roof of TURKUN HOLDING.

Turkun, who converts industrialism into art by combining high quality with aesthetics, is the owner of a leading foundation that offers upholstery and drapery under the brand of VANELLI to the world and supplier partner to the world's prominent firms. Erol Türkün is fluent in English, German and Italian. He is married to Tülin Türkün and father of 3 - Aslı, Sadi Cem and Serra.
