We Act with Responsibility

At Vanelli Textile, we are committed to respecting human rights, protecting labor rights, fulfilling our environmental responsibilities, and adhering to anti-corruption principles in all our business processes. Our company aligns itself with the United Nations Global Compact and the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO). This policy encourages all our employees, suppliers, and business partners to comply with these principles.

As a globally operating organization, Vanelli Textile embraces the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as its guiding framework and adopts a respectful approach towards human rights for all stakeholders in the communities where we operate. One of our core principles is to maintain a positive and professional working environment for our employees. We adhere to global ethical standards in recruitment, promotion, career development, compensation, benefits, and diversity. We fully respect employees' rights to establish and join civil society organizations of their choice. We strictly prohibit forced labor, child labor, discrimination, and any form of harassment.

Vanelli is committed to upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, demonstrating respect for the rights of its employees, shareholders, business partners, customers, and anyone impacted by its activities. We are dedicated to treating all employees fairly and respectfully, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment while avoiding any form of discrimination or human rights violations. Vanelli does not become complicit in any human rights violations.

The company also considers the needs of disadvantaged groups who may be more vulnerable to human rights abuses. In line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, Vanelli pays particular attention to groups whose rights are elaborated upon in UN documents, including indigenous peoples, women, ethnic/religious/linguistic minorities, children, persons with disabilities, migrant workers, and their families.

Vanelli complies with relevant health and safety legislation and adopts the highest safety standards across all work environments. The Occupational Health and Safety Board regularly reviews and addresses potential hazards to maintain a healthy and productive workplace.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR HARASSMENT AND VIOLENCE

Vanelli guarantees a safe working environment for all employees and commits to treating everyone with respect and dignity. All forms of physical or psychological violence, abuse, harassment, intimidation, and bullying are strictly prohibited. This includes threats or coercion, even if not acted upon. There is zero tolerance for verbal, physical, sexual, or psychological harassment in any form.

Vanelli complies with all relevant laws concerning wages, working hours, overtime, and benefits. We strive to improve employee productivity within standard working hours and avoid excessive overtime. We emphasize the importance of regular breaks, paid leave, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

  • Training covers topics such as ethical business conduct, eco-friendly practices, and anti-corruption.

AUDIT AND MONITORING

  • Vanelli conducts regular internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with its policies and international standards across all operations.

COMPLAINT AND REPORTING MECHANISMS

  • Employees, suppliers, and stakeholders may report violations of this policy.

  • Reports may be submitted via email (export@vanellitextile.com) or by phone during weekdays between 08:00–18:00 at +90 224 242 70 70 or +90 532 330 13 40.

  • The identity of complainants will be kept confidential in accordance with legal and administrative requirements.

  • The Social Compliance Manager is responsible for evaluating and resolving all complaints and reports.

  • This policy is reviewed as needed and updated by the Management Systems and Sustainability Department and Human Resources with the approval of the Board of Directors.
