Living Spaces - Focus on sustainability
Our Living Spaces collection features flame-retardant fabrics using sustainable recycled polyester yarns. The collection is built upon wide-width and narrow-width plain, textured, jacquard-woven and digitally printed sheers, semi-sheers, curtain fabrics and upholstery fabrics. The fabrics feature inspiring, enticing designs and interesting tactile stories embedded across textiles, surface work, print and pattern.
The collection highlights purposeful design–creating designs with timeless appeal, focusing on natural and sustainable manufacturing and materials. The designs celebrate raw and imperfect details, full- and large-scale digital botanic designs and forest greenery juxtaposed to architectural, geometric shapes. Science and nature fuse together to create new futuristic and technological elements throughout textile constructions.
Sustainability is is a priority in our product development. The Living Spaces collection is created with high quality flame retardant polyester yarns made from post-consumer and post-industrial recycled PET products. By choosing recycled polyester, we are able to deliver an excellent technical performance with a smaller environmental footprint.
At Vanelli we are fully committed to traceability of the fibres and materials used in our products. The GRS is a certification that verifies recycled input material, tracks it from input to the final product, and also ensures responsible social, environmental practices and chemical use through production. The goal is transparency in the supply chain, and providing better information to consumers.
