Environment Policy

We implement environmental management practices at international standards in order to carry Türkün Holding's long-standing and strong brand perception to the future in the best way possible as well as contribute to a sustainable future.

As a company, we are aware of our responsibilities to our world, we give priority to the effective and efficient use of resources; In order to leave a better world for future generations, we focus on sustainability in all our activities.

While applying our 'environmentally focused' production approach effectively at every stage of our production, we produce solutions for low carbon emissions; We always prioritize the future, not the present.

We aim to contribute to the future of our environment as well as humanity by acting with the responsibilities of "green" and "environmental" production against the global climate change that affects all humanity.

In line with the sustainability-focused strategies of our company, which are carried out by design activities, production, marketing and sales of high-end upholstery and drapery fabrics and home textile products, we aim to protect the ecosystem for a clean and healthy environment and transfer it to future generations.

In our Environment Policy;

  • By preventing industrial pollution that may occur during our operations, we will minimize the pollution at its source, we will keep our wastes under control and minimize it, and we will ensure the most effective way of recycling or disposal for unavoidable wastes,

  • We will reduce carbon emissions by keeping natural resource consumption (electricity, water, raw materials, fuel, etc.) under control and we will turn to natural resources that have the least impact on the environment,

  • To reach our company's purpose/goals with team awareness, we will educate our employees and stakeholders by carrying out trainings and activities that will increase their environmental awareness.

  • Establishing a sustainable production system by evaluating the environmental impacts arising from our activities with the principle of continuous improvement in all our operation processes,

  • To take measures to minimize the effects of emergencies and accidents on our employees and the environment that may occur during our activities,

  • While performing all our activities, we undertake to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, taking into account the applicable requirements of local and global environmental standards.

Energy Policy

Our company, which designs, produces, markets and sells high-end upholstery and drapery fabrics and home textile products, in all peer to peer business fields in line with its strategic goals;

We undertake:

  • Full compliance with the legal regulations on energy and all the conditions accepted by us as a compliance obligation

  • Continuous improvement, evolution and accessibility our Energy Management System, providing access to all kinds of information and data in order to increase our energy management performance

  • Preference for energy-efficient products, energy-efficient technologies and applications in production and in all our processes, and providing services

  • Observing continuous improvement while determining the goals and objectives in energy performance and management, regularly reviewing and updating the determined goals and providing the necessary resources

  • Taking energy efficiency improvements into account when designing and revising products and production processes

  • Sensitization of our employees, suppliers and our entire value chain for resource and energy efficiency

  • Proactive solutions by evaluating risks and opportunities from an energy point of view

Quality Policy

As a company, one of the key elements and most valued part of our journey to reach perfection is quality. While this approach forms the basis of our corporate culture, we also adopt total quality management as a lifestyle. In our wide product range, we aim to respond to the needs of today and the future in the fastest way by developing innovative products in line with global customer expectations and needs. In order to improve our competitive advantage and create value for all our partners, we focus on carving out better place for our service quality with continuous improvement and development activities. While contributing to a sustainable future with innovative and environmentally friendly products at international standards, we also continuously improve our quality management systems at financial and operational aspects.

Our company, which designs, produces, markets and sells high-end upholstery and drapery fabrics and home textile products, in all fields of activity in line with its strategic goals;

  • To increase productivity, to keep the product quality at the highest level and to make error-free production by incorporating innovative approaches in production, information technology and the best applicable techniques into business processes,

  • While performing our activities, we are committed to meeting all laws and regulations as well as partner expectations that must be complied within the framework of the relevant standards.

Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

Türkün Holding strictly prohibits all employees from accepting any benefit, gift, or advantage—whether monetary or non-monetary—that may affect, or appear to affect, their impartiality, performance, or decision-making while performing their duties.

If our suppliers and/or employees become aware of, or suspect, any case of bribery, corruption, or misappropriation of company resources by administrative or production staff, they may report such concerns freely and without fear of retaliation. Reports can be submitted in writing via complaint/suggestion boxes, either anonymously or with personal identification, at the discretion of the individual.

In addition, concerns may be raised through email, by requesting a direct meeting with the factory manager, or by calling through company phone lines. Suppliers, subcontractors, or employees may also report such matters to the relevant public authorities.

In cases where an employee or a person acting on behalf of the company is suspected of violating this policy, the procedures outlined in Türkün Holding’s Code of Ethics will apply. These principles are regularly communicated and reinforced across the organization.

Vanelli Tekstil San. ve Tic. A.Ş. is committed to promoting honesty and transparency. The company supports any employee or representative who, in good faith, raises concerns and ensures that all reports are treated confidentially. No employee shall face pressure, retaliation, or disciplinary action for reporting a suspected violation of the Code of Ethics. Without the written approval of the Ethics Committee, no changes may be made to an employee’s job scope or workplace location as a result of a report. If an employee experiences such treatment, they are encouraged to escalate the matter to the Board of Directors.

All reports will be investigated by the Board of Directors. Findings, including written and visual documentation, statements from voluntary or confidential witnesses, and related records, will be presented to the full Board. Based on these findings, the Board will deliberate on potential actions, and if deemed necessary, a formal vote will be conducted to determine the outcome regarding the individual(s) concerned.

Human Rights Policy

At Vanelli Textile, we are committed to respecting human rights, protecting labor rights, fulfilling our environmental responsibilities, and adhering to anti-corruption principles in all our business processes. Our company aligns itself with the United Nations Global Compact and the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO). This policy encourages all our employees, suppliers, and business partners to comply with these principles.

Vanelli does not become complicit in any human rights violations.

The Occupational Health and Safety Board regularly reviews and addresses potential hazards to maintain a healthy and productive workplace.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR HARASSMENT AND VIOLENCE

Vanelli guarantees a safe working environment for all employees and commits to treating everyone with respect and dignity. All forms of physical or psychological violence, abuse, harassment, intimidation, and bullying are strictly prohibited. This includes threats or coercion, even if not acted upon. There is zero tolerance for verbal, physical, sexual, or psychological harassment in any form.

Vanelli complies with all relevant laws concerning wages, working hours, overtime, and benefits. We strive to improve employee productivity within standard working hours and avoid excessive overtime. We emphasize the importance of regular breaks, paid leave, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

AUDIT AND MONITORING

  • Vanelli conducts regular internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with its policies and international standards across all operations.

COMPLAINT AND REPORTING MECHANISMS

  • Employees, suppliers, and stakeholders may report violations of this policy.

  • Reports may be submitted via email (export@vanellitextile.com) or by phone during weekdays between 08:00–18:00 at +90 224 242 70 70 or +90 532 330 13 40.

  • The identity of complainants will be kept confidential in accordance with legal and administrative requirements.

  • The Social Compliance Manager is responsible for evaluating and resolving all complaints and reports.

  • This policy is reviewed as needed and updated by the Management Systems and Sustainability Department and Human Resources with the approval of the Board of Directors.
